Why does the screen show 'Error Code 2'?
It means your car battery voltage is below 8V, and you might need to use the Force Start function.
4 Steps to use the Force Start Function:
Step 1: Insert the battery clamps into the jump starter and attach the clamps to the car battery (The screen may display “Error Code 2” or nothing).
Step 2: Press the Power Button and Flashlight Button simultaneously for 2–3 seconds to start the force output.
Step 3: Start the car engine.
Step 4: Remove the clamps from the car battery.
Note: Even though our product can restart dead batteries when the battery level of the jump starter is 20%, we still suggest you recharge the jump starter to above 80% for the best performance. When starting a completely dead battery, the car engine requires more power.

Hi there,
I helped a friend jumpstart her hybrid car. the Alpha 85 went from 76% to 0% in less than 15 seconds. Should I be worried?
The car did start. I was very impressed with that.
