The HULKMAN proprietary 9-Step Charge Optimizer includes 9 algorithms that can accurately detect battery conditions and optimize its charging. The 9-Step Charge Optimizer is an independent R&D by HULKMAN. It can detect the charging states, among the 9 options, and adjust the algorithm to ensure the optimization of the battery charging.
The 9-Step Charge Optimizer algorithms consist of Qualification, Soft Start, Pulse, Recondition, Bulk, Absorption, Full, Analysis and Maintenance. The details are explained below:
Qualification: Detects voltage, which gives the preliminary judgment of battery aging and sulfation.
Soft start: Charges the battery at low voltage and determines if it can hold/accept a charge.
Pulse: Charges the battery with pulse current to achieve the effect of removing sulfur from the negative plate of the battery.
Recondition: Charges the battery at 50% of the rated constant current and monitors it for abnormal conditions simultaneously.
Bulk: Charges the battery to above 90% at 100% of the rated constant current and monitors it for abnormal conditions simultaneously.
Absorption: Charges the battery to 100% at a lower current and monitors it for abnormal conditions simultaneously.
Full: Terminates the recharging of the battery when the output current is detected to be lower than the set value and monitors the battery for abnormal conditions simultaneously.
Analysis: Analyzes whether the battery is a bad one.
Maintenance: Makes Sigma 1 battery charger enters maintenance mode, charging the battery at a low current to keep your battery fully charged for a long time.
Recharge: Makes Sigma 1 battery charger enters a maintenance phase and re-executes the 9-stage charging process when the battery level unexpectedly drops back down.
