Answer:
Many of you might sometimes be careless, and leave the product in the car (charging or not) during the hot summer for months. However, our products have multiple safety measures:
Better Heat-Resistant design:
Our products are made of high-temperature-resistant materials, and they can endure higher temperature than most of the others.
Built-in protection design:
Built-in protection protects you from the danger of using it at the extreme temperature which exceeds its operating temperature range. If the outside environment temperature is too high, the unit could detect it automatically and show 'ERROR CODE 3' on the screen. If you could find a shady place to cool it down, the Error Code will disappear.
Recommended storage temperature & operating temperature:
HULKMAN | Alpha 65 | Alpha 85 | Alpha 85S | Alpha 100 |
Storage temperature | -40℉~131℉ | -40℉~131℉ | -40℉~131℉ | -40℉~131℉ |
Operating temperature | -5℉~113℉ | -5℉~113℉ | -40℉~113℉ | -40℉~113℉ |
Conclusion: In the summer months, it's better to take it out of the car when you get home. Because long-term storing the product outside of this range would shorten the jump starter's lifespan.
