Answer:
This depends on the devices you have.
The HULKMAN Alpha 85S and Alpha 100 are both equipped with Pre-Heat Technology, which can start your dead car batteries in freezing weather. Feel free to hit the roads this winter worry free!
We recommend that you choose the Alpha 85S or Alpha 100 if you need to start your car in freezing weather.
Pre-Heat Technology:
Your jump starters are made of low-temperature resistant batteries, which can be stored and operated in much lower temperatures than other brands’ jump starters.
With the Alpha 85S or Alpha 100, if the jump starter detects that the temperature is below the lowest operating temperature, it will automatically operate the Pre-Heat Function to warm up and reach an ideal operating temperature.
HULKMAN 's Operating Temperature:
Alpha 65 | Alpha 85 | Alpha 85S | Alpha 100 | |
Storage temperature | -40℉~131℉ | -40℉~131℉ | -40℉~131℉ | -40℉~131℉ |
Operating temperature | -4℉~113℉ | -4℉~113℉ | -40℉~113℉ | -40℉~113℉ |
If the screen shows 'Error Code 3', please follow these 3 steps:
Step 1: Connect the clamps to the car battery correctly.
Step 2: The Pre-Heat Function will operate automatically and the “Pre-Heat” icon will be displayed on the screen when the detected temperature is below the ideal operating temperature.
Step 3: The “READY” icon will pop up on the screen after preheating, following which you can start your car engine.
