Alpha 85/ Alpha 85S/ Alpha 100 are all suitable for this situation.

Note: Alpha 65 does not feature a 12V DC output port.

Before replacing the battery:

1) You need to buy an alligator clamp to male cigarette lighter extension cable from elsewhere. 

2) Make sure that the jump starter battery level is at least 20%. We recommend that you could charge it to 80% or to the maximum level.

Here are the steps to use the Alpha 85/ Alpha 85S/ Alpha 100 when replacing the car battery:

Step 1: Connect the Jump Starter - Cigarette Lighter Socket Adapter - Cigarette Lighter Extension Cable.

Step 2: Attach the clamps to the metal part of the conductive wire next to the car battery.

(Note: The red clamps connect to “+” and the black clamps to “-“.  The clamps connection position does not hinder the removal of the battery.)

Step 3: Ensure that the discharge icon on the screen lights up.

Step 4: Replace your car battery. Please be careful not to let the clips fall off.
