1) At extremely high temperatures
If the temperature is too high, exceeding the highest operating temperature 113℉, “Error Code 3” will be displayed on the screen.
If the screen shows “Error Code 3,” please follow these 5 steps:
Step 1: Remove the clamps from the car battery.
Step 2: Leave your devices in a shady place and wait for 10 minutes until the “Error Code 3” message disappears automatically.
Step 3: Reconnect the clamps to the car battery correctly and the “READY” icon will appear on screen.
Step 4: Start the car engine.
Step 5: Remove the clamps from the car battery
2) At extremely low temperatures
Alpha 85S/100:
If the Alpha 85S/100 is at an extremely low temperature, the Pre-Heat Function will operate automatically and the “Pre-Heat” icon will appear on screen when the detected temperature is below the ideal operating temperature.
If the screen shows “Error Code 3,” please follow these 3 steps:
Step 1: Connect the clamps to the car battery correctly.
Step 2: The Pre-Heat Function will operate automatically and the icon will be displayed on screen when the detected temperature is below the ideal operating temperature.

Alpha 65 / 85:
Without the Pre-Heat Technology when the operating temperature is too low, the “Error Code 3” message will appear on the screen.

Step 1: Put it in a warmer environment and wait for returning to the operating temperature.
